Therefore I will be unto them as a lion; as a leopard by the way will I observe them.
Therefore am I unto them as a lion; as a leopard will I watch by the way;
So I will be like a lion to them; Like a leopard I will watch and lie in wait [ready to attack] by the road [to Assyria].
Therefore I have become to them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk by the way [to Assyria] and watch them.
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
So I will be like a lion to them; I will lurk like a leopard on the path.
So I will be like a lion to them; I will lurk like a leopard on the path.
So I will become like a lion to them; like a leopard I will lurk beside the road.
So now I have become like a lion to them; like a leopard I will lurk by the road;
Now I will attack like a lion, ambush you like a leopard,
And I will be unto them as a lion; as a leopard I will lurk for them by the way;
And I will be to them as a lioness, as a leopard in the way of the Assyrians.
“That is why I will be like a lion to them. I will be like a leopard waiting by the road.
So I will attack them like a lion. I will be like a leopard that waits beside the road. It is ready to catch anything that goes that way.
So I will be like a lion to them. Like a leopard, I will lurk along the path.
So I am to them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I am to them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
That is why I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard ·waiting [lurking] by the ·road [path].
And I will be unto them as a very lion, and as a leopard in the way of Assyria.
So I will be like a lion. Like a leopard I will wait by the road to ambush you.
So I will attack you like a lion. Like a leopard I will lie in wait along your path.
So I will be like a lion to them; I will lurk like a leopard on the path.
That is why I will be like a lion to them. I will be like a leopard waiting by the road.
“So I will be like a lion to them. Like a leopard I will stalk them along the road.
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion; as a tiger in the way I will observe them:

So I will be like a lion to them; Like a leopard I will lie in wait by the wayside.
And I will be like a lion to them; I lie in wait beside the way, like a leopard.
So I will come upon you like a lion, or a leopard lurking along the road.
“I’ll charge them like a lion, like a leopard stalking in the brush. I’ll jump them like a sow grizzly robbed of her cubs. I’ll rip out their guts. Coyotes will make a meal of them. Crows will clean their bones. I’m going to destroy you, Israel. Who is going to stop me? Where is your trusty king you thought would save you? Where are all the local leaders you wanted so badly? All these rulers you insisted on having, demanding, ‘Give me a king! Give me leaders!’? Well, long ago I gave you a king, but I wasn’t happy about it. Now, fed up, I’ve gotten rid of him. I have a detailed record of your infidelities— Ephraim’s sin documented and stored in a safe-deposit box.
So I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
So I will be like a lion. Like a leopard I will wait by the road to ambush you.
So, I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard by the road I will keep watch.
So I will be like a lion to them; Like a leopard I will lie in wait by the wayside.
So I will be like a lion to them; Like a leopard I will lie in wait by the wayside.
So now I will be like a lion to them; like a leopard I will lurk beside the road.
That is why I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard waiting by the road.
So I will pounce on them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
So I will leap on them like a lion. I will hide and wait beside the road like a leopard.
So I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
So I will be like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
“So I will be to them like a lion; Like a leopard by the road I will lurk;
So I will be like a lion to them. I will lie in wait by the road like a leopard.
So now I will attack you like a lion, like a leopard that lurks along the road.
So I will become like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I will become like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I will become like a lion to them, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I will become like a lion to them; like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion; as a leopard by the derech will I lie in wait;
“And I will be to them as a lion, as a leopard on the way of Assyria.
So I will be to them like a lion, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I will be to them like a lion, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
So I became like a lion to them— like a leopard lying in wait by the way.
So I’ll be like a lion to them, like a panther stalking the roadside.
Therefore I am like a lion to them. Like a leopard, I will lurk by the path.
And I shall be as a lioness to them, as a leopard in the way of Assyrians. (And I shall be like a lioness to them, I shall watch them like a leopard by the wayside.)
And I am to them as a lion, As a leopard by the way I look out.
