Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left to us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.
Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still remains and is freely offered today, let us fear, in case any one of you may seem to come short of reaching it or think he has come too late.

The promise to enter the place of rest is still good, and we must take care that none of you miss out.
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you might seem to have failed [of it].
Therefore, let us fear that at any time while a promise to enter into His rest is left-remaining [open], any of you should seem to have come-short—
Let us fear therefore lest the promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should be thought to be wanting.
And we still have the promise that God gave those people. That promise is that we can enter his place of rest. So we should be very careful that none of you fails to get that promise.
God promised his people that they could go to his special place of rest. That promise is still true for us today. So we must be very careful. Do not fail to arrive in that place. We certainly do not want that to happen.
Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be fearful that any one of you may be judged to have failed to reach it.

1 He joineth exhortation with threatening, lest they, even as their fathers were be deprived of the rest offered unto them, 11 but that they endeavor to enter into it. 14 And so he beginneth to entreat of Christ’s Priesthood. Let us fear therefore, lest at any time by forsaking the promise of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to be deprived.
God’s promise that we may enter his place of rest still stands. We are afraid that some of you think you won’t enter his place of rest.
Now, God has offered us the promise that we may receive that rest he spoke about. Let us take care, then, that none of you will be found to have failed to receive that promised rest.
Therefore, while the promise to enter His rest remains, let us fear that none of you should miss it.
Now God has left us that promise that we may enter and have his rest. Let us be very careful, then, so that none of you will fail to get that rest.
Therefore, as long as the promise of entering his rest remains valid, let us be afraid! Otherwise, some of you will fail to reach it,
Now since the same promise of rest is offered to us today, let us be continually on our guard that none of us even looks like failing to attain it. For we too have had a Gospel preached to us, as those men had. Yet the message proclaimed to them did them no good, because they only heard and did not believe as well. It is only as a result of our faith and trust that we experience that rest. For he said: ‘So I swore in my wrath, they shall not enter my rest’; not because the rest was not prepared—it had been ready since the work of creation was completed, as he says elsewhere in the scriptures, speaking of the seventh day of creation, ‘And God rested on the seventh day from all his works’.
¶ Let us, therefore, fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Although God’s promise still stands—his promise that all may enter his place of rest—we ought to tremble with fear because some of you may be on the verge of failing to get there after all.
For as long, then, as that promise of resting in him pulls us on to God’s goal for us, we need to be careful that we’re not disqualified. We received the same promises as those people in the wilderness, but the promises didn’t do them a bit of good because they didn’t receive the promises with faith. If we believe, though, we’ll experience that state of resting. But not if we don’t have faith. Remember that God said, Exasperated, I vowed, “They’ll never get where they’re going, never be able to sit down and rest.” God made that vow, even though he’d finished his part before the foundation of the world. Somewhere it’s written, “God rested the seventh day, having completed his work,” but in this other text he says, “They’ll never be able to sit down and rest.” So this promise has not yet been fulfilled. Those earlier ones never did get to the place of rest because they were disobedient. God keeps renewing the promise and setting the date as today, just as he did in David’s psalm, centuries later than the original invitation: Today, please listen, don’t turn a deaf ear . . .
Therefore, since the promise of entering His rest remains, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it.
Therefore while the promise of entering his rest is still open, · let us fear lest any one of you may seem to be excluded from it.
God’s promise that we may enter his place of rest still stands. We are afraid that some of you think you won’t enter his place of rest.
Therefore, let us be on our guard while the promise of entering into his rest remains, that none of you seem to have failed.

So we are naturally afraid that some of you might seem to have missed out on God’s promise of entering his rest, the promise which is still open before us.
Therefore, let us walk in yir’at Shomayim, for fear that, while the havtachah (promise) of entering the menuchah of Hashem is still open, anyone of you should seem to have fallen short of it.
Therefore, let us fear, lest at any time any of you should seem to have come short of the promise of entering into His rest.
Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest remains, let us fear lest any of you be judged to have failed to reach it.

Let us fear then! Though a promise of entering His rest is left open, some of you would seem to have fallen short.
That’s why, as long as that promise of entering God’s rest remains open to us, we should be careful that none of us seem to fall short ourselves.
Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
We still have God's promise that people will go into his resting place. So let us take care that not one of you will be kept out.
Therefore dread we, least peradventure while the promise of entering into his rest is left, that any of us be guessed to be away [be guessed, or deemed, for to fail].
We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short,
