For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,
For if the word spoken through angels proved stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
For if the message given through angels [the Law given to Moses] was authentic and unalterable, and every violation and disobedient act received an appropriate penalty,
For if the message given through angels [the Law spoken by them to Moses] was authentic and proved sure, and every violation and disobedience received an appropriate (just and adequate) penalty,
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,
For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,
If the message that was spoken by angels was reliable, and every offense and act of disobedience received an appropriate consequence,
For if the word God spoke through angels became binding, so that every violation and act of disobedience received its just deserts in full measure,
The message spoken by angels proved to be true, and all who disobeyed or rejected it were punished as they deserved.
For if the word which was spoken by angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received just retribution,
For if the word having been spoken through angels proved-to-be firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,
For if the word, spoken by angels, became steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward:
The teaching that God spoke through angels was shown to be true. And every time his people did something against that teaching, they were punished for what they did. They were punished when they did not obey that teaching.
The message that God spoke by angels was certainly powerful. God punished people when they did not obey the Law that he gave to Moses. In a completely right way he punished people who did anything wrong.
For if the message that was spoken through angels was valid, and every transgression and disobedient act received a just punishment,
For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,
For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,
·The teaching [L If/Since the message/word…] God spoke through angels [Acts 7:53] was shown to be ·true [firm; reliable], and ·anyone who did not follow it or obey it [every violation/transgression and disobedience] received the punishment that ·was earned [it deserved; was just].
For if the word spoken by Angels was steadfast, and every transgression, and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,
After all, the message that the angels brought was reliable, and every violation and act of disobedience was properly punished.
The message given to our ancestors by the angels was shown to be true, and those who did not follow it or obey it received the punishment they deserved.
For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,
The teaching that God spoke through angels was shown to be true. And anyone who did not follow it or obey it received the punishment he earned.
because if the message spoken by angels was reliable, and every violation and act of disobedience received its just punishment,
We ought, therefore, to pay the greatest attention to the truth that we have heard and not allow ourselves to drift away from it. For if the message given through angels proved authentic, so that defiance of it and disobedience to it received appropriate retribution, how shall we escape if we refuse to pay proper attention to the salvation that is offered us today? For this salvation came first through the words of the Lord himself: it was confirmed for our hearing by men who had heard him speak, and God moreover has plainly endorsed their witness by signs and miracles, by all kinds of spiritual power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, all working to the divine plan.
For if the word spoken by the ministry of angels was steadfast and every rebellion and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every trespass and disobedience received a just penalty,
For if the word spoken through angels was binding and every transgression and act of disobedience received a just penalty,
For since the messages from angels have always proved true and people have always been punished for disobeying them,
It’s crucial that we keep a firm grip on what we’ve heard so that we don’t drift off. If the old message delivered by the angels was valid and nobody got away with anything, do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation? First of all, it was delivered in person by the Master, then accurately passed on to us by those who heard it from him. All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit.
For if the word spoken by angels was true, and every sin and disobedience received a just recompense,
For if the message spoken through angels became firmly established and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,
After all, the message that the angels brought was reliable, and every violation and act of disobedience was properly punished.
For if the word announced through angels proved firm, and every transgression and disobedience received its just recompense,
For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment,
For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,
For if the message delivered by angels proved to be so valid that every transgression and disobedience brought a proper punishment,
The teaching God spoke through angels was shown to be true, and anyone who did not follow it or obey it received the punishment that was earned.
For if the message spoken through angels proved to be so firm that every violation or disobedience received its just penalty,
Even the message God spoke through angels had to be obeyed. Every time people broke the Law, they were punished. Every time they didn’t obey, they were punished.
For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,
These truths given by the angels proved to be true. People were punished when they did not obey them.
For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.
For if the word that was spoken by angels was sure, so that every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense in reward,
For if the message declared through angels was valid, and every transgression or disobedience received a just penalty,
For if the message declared through angels was valid, and every transgression or disobedience received a just penalty,

You see, if the word which was spoken through angels was reliable, with appropriate and just punishment every time anyone broke it or disobeyed it,
For if the Dvar Hashem which was declared through malachim became firmly established and every peysha (transgression) and averah (disobedience to the commandment) received a gemul tzodek (just retribution), [DEVARIM 33:2, TARGUM HA-SHIVIM]
For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense,
For if the message declared by angels was valid and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,
For if the message declared by angels was valid and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,
For if the word spoken through angels proved to be firm, and every violation and disobedience received a just payback,
For if the words of instruction and inspiration brought by heaven’s messengers were valid, and if we live in a universe where sin and disobedience receive their just rewards,
For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,
What the angels said proved to be true. Every one who broke the law, and who did not obey it, was punished as he should be punished.
For if that word that was said by angels, was made firm, and each breaking of the law and unobedience [and each trespassing, or breaking of the law, and unobedience] took just retribution of meed,
for if the word being spoken through messengers did become stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience did receive a just recompense,
