And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
And if indeed they had been mindful of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
And if they had been thinking of that country from which they departed [as their true home], they would have had [a continuing] opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking with [homesick] remembrance of that country from which they were emigrants, they would have found constant opportunity to return to it.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
If they were thinking about where they came from, they would have had an opportunity to return.
If they were thinking about where they came from, they would have had an opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking about the country that they had left, they would have had the opportunity to return to it.
Now if they were to keep recalling the one they left, they would have an opportunity to return;
If they had been talking about the land where they had once lived, they could have gone back at any time.
And if they had called to mind that from whence they went out, they had had opportunity to have returned;
And if they had been remembering that homeland from which they came out, they would have had opportunity to return—
And truly if they had been mindful of that from whence they came out, they had doubtless time to return.
If they were thinking about the country they had left, they could have gone back.
They were not thinking about the country that they had left. They could have gone back there if they really wanted to.
And if they were remembering the land they had come from, they would have had an opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking about the country they had left, they ·could have gone back [L would have had an opportunity to return].
And if they had been mindful of that country, from whence they came out, they had leisure to have returned.
If they had been thinking about the country that they had left, they could have found a way to go back.
They did not keep thinking about the country they had left; if they had, they would have had the chance to return.
If they were thinking about where they came from, they would have had an opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking about that country they had left, they could have gone back.
If they had been thinking about what they had left behind, they would have had an opportunity to go back.
All these whom we have mentioned maintained their faith but died without actually receiving God’s promises, though they had seen them in the distance, had hailed them as true and were quite convinced of their reality. They freely admitted that they lived on this earth as exiles and foreigners. Men who say that mean, of course, that their eyes are fixed upon their true home-land. If they had meant the particular country they had left behind, they had ample opportunity to return. No, the fact is that they longed for a better country altogether, nothing less than a heavenly one. And because of this faith of theirs, God is not ashamed to be called their God for in sober truth he has prepared for them a city in Heaven.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had time to have returned.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
And indeed if they had been remembering that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
And if they remember that land from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had wanted to, they could have gone back to the good things of this world.
Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in hand what was promised, but still believing. How did they do it? They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world. People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home. If they were homesick for the old country, they could have gone back any time they wanted. But they were after a far better country than that—heaven country. You can see why God is so proud of them, and has a City waiting for them.
And certainly, if they had been thinking of the country out of which they came, they might have had the opportunity to return.
· If they had been referring to that country from which they had set out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking about the country that they had left, they could have found a way to go back.
If they had been thinking of the land from which they had come, they would have had opportunity to return.
And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return.
And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of the land that they had left behind, they would have had the opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking about the country they had left, they could have gone back.
In fact, if they had been thinking of the land that they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.
What if they had been thinking of the country they had left? Then they could have returned to it.
If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.

And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return.
They did not think about the country they had come from. If they had, they might have gone back.
If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back.
Also, if they had been mindful of that country that they came from, they were free to have returned again.
If they had been thinking of the land that they had left behind, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of the land that they had left behind, they would have had opportunity to return.

Had they been thinking of the place from which they had set out, they would have had plenty of opportunity to go back to it.
And if they were remembering ha’aretz from which they made aliyah, they would have had an opportunity to make yerida (to descend back, return).
And if they had been mindful of from where they had come, they had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
If indeed they had been thinking about where they had come from, they would have had opportunity to return.
If this was only a bit of nostalgia for a time and place they left behind, then certainly they might have turned around and returned.
If indeed they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had enough time to return.
If they had wanted the country they left behind, they could have gone back to it.
If they had had mind of that [And forsooth if they had mind of that], of which they went out, [soothly] they had time of turning again;
and if, indeed, they had been mindful of that from which they came forth, they might have had an opportunity to return,
