I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I [Habakkuk, in my vision] saw the tents of Cushan under distress; The tent curtains of the land of Midian were trembling.
I [Habakkuk, in vision] saw the tents of Cushan [probably Ethiopia] in affliction; the [tent] curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I see the tents of Cushan in distress; the tent curtains of the land of Midian tremble.

I saw the tents of Cushan under duress. The curtains of the land of Midian were quaking.
I saw trouble in the tents of Kushan and the tent hangings shaking in the land of Midyan.
The tents of desert tribes in Cushan and Midian were ripped apart.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I saw the tents of Ethiopia for their iniquity, the curtains of the land of Madian shall be troubled.
I saw that the cities of Cushan were in trouble and that the houses of Midian trembled with fear.
I see the tents where Cushan's people live, and the people are afraid. The people in Midian are shaking with fear.
I saw the tents of Cushan overwhelmed by trouble. The tent curtains in the land of Midian were trembling.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I saw that the tents of Cushan [C located in southern Transjordan] were in ·trouble [distress] and that the ·tents [curtains] of the land of Midian trembled [Ex. 15:14–16; Josh. 2:9–10].
For his iniquity I saw the tents of Cushan, and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
I see trouble in the tents of Cushan. I see trembling in the tents of Midian.
I saw the people of Cushan afraid and the people of Midian tremble.
I see the tents of Cushan in distress; the tent curtains of the land of Midian tremble.
I saw that the tents of Cushan were in trouble. The tents of Midian trembled.
I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, and the tent curtains of the land of Midian in anguish.
I saw the tents of Cushan as nothing, and the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

I saw the tents of Cushan under wickedness; The tent curtains of the land of Midian were trembling.
Under affliction I saw the tents of Cushan; the tent curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
I see the people of Cushan and of Midian in mortal fear.
God’s on his way again, retracing the old salvation route, Coming up from the south through Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Skies are blazing with his splendor, his praises sounding through the earth, His cloud-brightness like dawn, exploding, spreading, forked-lightning shooting from his hand— what power hidden in that fist! Plague marches before him, pestilence at his heels! He stops. He shakes Earth. He looks around. Nations tremble. The age-old mountains fall to pieces; ancient hills collapse like a spent balloon. The paths God takes are older than the oldest mountains and hills. I saw everyone worried, in a panic: Old wilderness adversaries, Cushan and Midian, were terrified, hoping he wouldn’t notice them. * * *
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
I see trouble in the tents of Cushan. I see trembling in the tents of Midian.
The tents of Cushan trembled, the pavilions of the land of Midian.
I saw the tents of Cushan under distress, The tent curtains of the land of Midian were trembling.
I saw the tents of Cushan under distress, The tent curtains of the land of Midian were trembling.
The tents of the Ethiopians are in distress; the dwellings of the land of Midian are trembling.
I saw that the tents of Cushan were in trouble and that the tents of Midian trembled.

I see the tents of Cushan under attack by evil forces. The tent curtains of Midian shake throughout that land.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction. The dwellings of the land of Midian trembled.
For wickedness I saw the tents of Ethiopia, the skins of the land of Midian shall be troubled. (I saw that the tents of Cushan were under wickedness, and that the tent curtains of the lands of Midian were troubled, or trembled.)
Under sorrow I have seen tents of Cushan, Tremble do curtains of the land of Midian.
