They shall come all for violence; their faces shall consume as the east wind, and they shall gather the captives as the sand.
They come all of them for violence; the set of their faces is forwards; and they gather captives as the sand.
“They all come for violence; Their horde of faces moves [eagerly] forward, They gather prisoners like sand.
They all come for violence; their faces turn eagerly forward, and they gather prisoners together like sand.
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
All of them come to do violence; their faces are set in determination. They gather prisoners like sand.

They come for violence, the horde with all their faces set toward the desert. He takes captives like sand.

They are eager to destroy, and they gather captives like handfuls of sand.
They come all of them for violence: the crowd of their faces is forwards, and they gather captives as the sand.
They shall all come to the prey, their face is like a burning wind: and they shall gather together captives as the sand.
The one thing they all want to do is fight. Their armies will march fast like the wind in the desert. And the Babylonian soldiers will take many prisoners—as many as the grains of sand.
Their whole army comes to do violent things. They march forward like a wind from the desert. They make people their prisoners, as easily as if they are picking up sand.
All of them come to commit violence. Their hordes blow by like the desert wind and sweep up prisoners like sand.
They all come for violence, all their faces forward. They gather captives like sand.
They all come for violence, all their faces forward. They gather captives like sand.
They all come ·to fight [L for violence]. ·Nothing can stop them [or …a horde moving like an east wind; or …their faces set forward]. Their prisoners are ·as many as the grains of [L like] sand.
They come all to spoil: for their faces shall be an East wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.

“Their armies advance in violent conquest, and everyone is terrified as they approach. Their captives are as numerous as grains of sand.
All of them come to do violence; their faces are set in determination. They gather prisoners like sand.
They all come to fight. Their armies march quickly like a whirlwind in the desert. Their prisoners are as many as the grains of sand.
“They all come to oppress— hordes of them, their faces pressing onward— they take prisoners as numerous as the desert sand!
All of her shall come for the prey, before their faces an east wind, and they shall gather the captives as the sand.
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.

All opposition melts away before the terror of their presence. They collect captives like sand.
“Look around at the godless nations. Look long and hard. Brace yourself for a shock. Something’s about to take place and you’re going to find it hard to believe. I’m about to raise up Babylonians to punish you, Babylonians, fierce and ferocious— World-conquering Babylon, grabbing up nations right and left, A dreadful and terrible people, making up its own rules as it goes. Their horses run like the wind, attack like bloodthirsty wolves. A stampede of galloping horses thunders out of nowhere. They descend like vultures circling in on carrion. They’re out to kill. Death is on their minds. They collect victims like squirrels gathering nuts. They mock kings, poke fun at generals, Spit on forts, and leave them in the dust. They’ll all be blown away by the wind. Brazen in sin, they call strength their god.”

They are all bent on violence, a horde moving steadily forward like an east wind; they scoop up captives like sand.
They all come to fight. Nothing can stop them. Their prisoners are as many as the grains of sand.
All of them intend to do violence; every face is determined. They take prisoners as easily as one scoops up sand.
All of them are ready and willing to destroy others. Their huge armies advance like a wind out of the desert. They gather prisoners like sand.

“They all come to plunder. For their faces shall be an East wind. And they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
They all come for violence; terror of them goes before them. They gather captives like sand.

All of them come for violence— an assembling of faces to the east. He gathers captives like sand.
And Babylonia keeps on coming, hungry for violence. Hordes of determined faces are on the move like a hot east wind, Scooping up captives like sand.
All of them come for violence. Their hordes face forward. They gather prisoners like sand.
All (these) men shall come to prey, the faces of them is as a burning wind; and he shall gather as gravel (the) captivity, (All these men shall come for prey, their faces be like the burning wind; and they shall gather up captives like the sand,)
Wholly for violence it doth come in, Their faces swallowing up the east wind, And it doth gather as the sand a captivity.
