Why do You make men like the fish of the sea, Like reptiles and creeping things that have no ruler [and are helpless against their enemies]?

And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
You have made mankind like the fish of the sea, like marine creatures that have no ruler.

You made humans like the fish of the sea, like creeping things with no one to rule over them.
You make people like fish in the sea, like reptiles that have no ruler.
The people you put on this earth are like fish or reptiles without a leader.
And thou makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them.
And thou wilt make men as the fishes of the sea, and as the creeping things that have no ruler.
You made people like fish in the sea. They are like little sea animals without a leader.
It seems that you have made people like fish in the sea. They are like animals that have no leader to rule them.
You treat people like fish in the sea, like creeping creatures that have no ruler.
You make mankind like the fish of the sea, like crawling things that have no ruler.
You make mankind like the fish of the sea, like crawling things that have no ruler.
You ·treat [or made] people like fish in the sea, like sea animals without a ·leader [ruler].
And makest men as the fishes of the sea, and as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
You make all people like the fish in the sea, like schools of sea life that have no ruler.
How can you treat people like fish or like a swarm of insects that have no ruler to direct them?
You have made mankind like the fish of the sea, like marine creatures that have no ruler.
You treat people like fish in the sea. You treat them like sea animals without a leader.
“You have fashioned mankind like fish in the ocean, like creeping things that have no ruler.
And dost make men as the fishes of the sea, as reptiles that have no lord?
And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
And You have made men like the fish of the sea, Like creeping things without a ruler over them.
You make humankind like fish of the sea, like crawling creatures that have no ruler among them.
Are we but fish, to be caught and killed? Are we but creeping things that have no leader to defend them from their foes?
You’re treating men and women as so many fish in the ocean, Swimming without direction, swimming but not getting anywhere. Then this evil Babylonian arrives and goes fishing. He pulls in a good catch. He catches his limit and fills his bucket— a good day of fishing! He’s happy! He praises his rod and reel, piles his fishing gear on an altar and worships it! It’s made his day, and he’s going to eat well tonight! * * *

And thou shalt make men as fishes of the sea, and as a creeping thing not having a prince. (And shalt thou make people like the fish of the sea, and like the creeping things that do not have a leader?/And why makest thou people like the fish of the sea, and like the creeping things that do not have a leader?)
And Thou makest man as fishes of the sea, As a creeping thing -- none ruling over him.
