Only herein will the men consent unto us to dwell with us, to be one people: if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

But only on this condition will the men consent to our request that they live among us and become one people: that every male among us become circumcised just as they are circumcised.

Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.
But the men will agree to live with us and be one people only on this condition: if all our men are circumcised as they are.

But the men will agree to live with us and become one people only if we circumcise every male just as they do.
But the people will consent to live with us and become one people only on this condition: that every male among us gets circumcised, as they themselves are circumcised.
We have to do only one thing before they will agree to stay here and become one nation with us. Our men will have to be circumcised just like theirs.
But only in this will the men consent to us to dwell with us, to be one people—if every male among us be circumcised, just as they are circumcised.
One thing there is for which so great a good is deferred: We must circumcise every male among us, following the manner of the nation.
But there is one thing that all our men must agree to do. They must agree to be circumcised as they are.
But we must do the one thing that they have asked us to do. We must circumcise all our males in the same way that they do. If we do that, they will agree to live among us.
Only on this condition will the men agree to live with us and to become one people with us: if every male among us is circumcised, as they are circumcised.
Only on this condition will the men agree to dwell with us to become one people—when every male among us is circumcised as they are circumcised.
Only on this condition will the men agree to dwell with us to become one people—when every male among us is circumcised as they are circumcised.
But we must agree to one thing: All our men must be circumcised as they are. Then they will agree to live in our land, and we will be one people.
Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, and to be one people, if all the men children among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.
These people will consent to live with us and become one nation on one condition: Every male must be circumcised as they are.
But these men will agree to live among us and be one people with us only on the condition that we circumcise all our males, as they are circumcised.
But the men will agree to live with us and be one people only on this condition: if all our men are circumcised as they are.
But our men must agree to one thing. All our men must agree to be circumcised as they are. Then they will agree to live in our land. And we will be one people.
“However,” they added, “only on this condition will the men consent to live with us and be united as a single people with us: every male among us will have to be circumcised just as they are.
Only with this condition will these men consent to dwell with us that we may be one people: if every male among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.
Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

But they will only consider staying here on one condition—that every one of us men be circumcised, the same as they are.
So Hamor and his son Shechem went to the public square and spoke to the town council: “These men like us; they are our friends. Let them settle down here and make themselves at home; there’s plenty of room in the country for them. And, just think, we can even exchange our daughters in marriage. But these men will only accept our invitation to live with us and become one big family on one condition, that all our males become circumcised just as they themselves are. This is a very good deal for us—these people are very wealthy with great herds of livestock and we’re going to get our hands on it. So let’s do what they ask and have them settle down with us.”
Only on this condition will the men consent to dwell with us and be one people: if every male among us will be circumcised as they are circumcised.
These people will consent to live with us and become one nation on one condition: Every male must be circumcised as they are.
But only on this condition will the men agree to live with us and form one people with us: that every male among us be circumcised as they themselves are.

But there is one condition before these men will agree to live with us to become a single people: that we circumcise each of our males as they themselves are circumcised.
But we must agree to one thing: All our men must be circumcised as they are. Then they will agree to live in our land, and we will be one people.
Only on this one condition will these men consent to live with us and become one people: They demand that every male among us be circumcised just as they are circumcised.
But they will agree to live with us as one big family only on one condition. All our males must be circumcised, just as they are.
But the men will agree to live with us as one people only on the condition that our males be circumcised, as they themselves are.
But the men will agree to live with us as one people only on the condition that our males be circumcised, as they themselves are.
Only on this condition will the men consent to dwell with us, to be one people: if every male among us is circumcised as they are circumcised.
But the men will be willing to live with us and become one people only if every man among us goes through the religious act that they have gone through.
But they will consider staying here and becoming one people with us only if all of our men are circumcised, just as they are.
Only on this condition will they agree to live among us, to become one people: that every male among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.
Only on this condition will they agree to live among us, to become one people: that every male among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.

Only herein will the anashim consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be Am Echad, if every zachar among us be circumcised, just as they are nimolim (ones being circumcised).

Only on this condition will the men agree to dwell with us, to become one people: that every male among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.

But by this did these men consent to us, to live with us and to become one people—when all our males are circumcised as they are circumcised.
They will agree to live among us in peace and become one people on one condition: every male among us must be circumcised, just as they already are.
Only on this condition will the men consent to us to live with us, to become one people, if every male among us is circumcised, as they are circumcised.
One thing is, for which so great good is delayed; if we circumcise our males, and follow the custom of the folk, (But before that they will live with us, and we become one people, there is one thing which they require us to do; we must first circumcise all our males, and so follow this folk’s custom,)
