and said, “By Myself (on the basis of Who I Am) I have sworn [an oath], declares the Lord, that since you have done this thing and have not withheld [from Me] your son, your only son [of promise],
And said, I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, that since you have done this and have not withheld [from Me] or begrudged [giving Me] your son, your only son,
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
and said, “By myself I have sworn,” this is the Lord’s declaration: “Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your only son,
and said, ‘By myself I have sworn,’ this is the Lord’s declaration: ‘Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your only son,
and said, “I give my word as the Lord that because you did this and didn’t hold back your son, your only son,
He said, “I have sworn by myself — says Adonai — that because you have done this, because you haven’t withheld your son, your only son,
You were willing to offer your only son to the Lord, and so he makes you this solemn promise,
and said, By myself I swear, saith Jehovah, that, because thou hast done this, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son],
By my own self have I sworn, saith the Lord: because thou hast done this thing, and hast not spared thy only begotten son for my sake:
The angel said, “You were ready to kill your only son for me. Since you did this for me, I make you this promise: I, the Lord, promise that
The angel said, ‘This is what the Lord says: I promise that this is what I will do for you. You did not try to keep your son safe, but you offered him to me. And he was your only son.
and said, “I have sworn by myself, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,
and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
and said, “The Lord says, ‘Because you did not ·keep back [withhold] your son, your ·only [precious] son, from me, I ·make you this promise by my own name [L swear by myself]:

and said, “I have taken an oath to swear by myself,” declares the Lord, “that since you have carried this out and have not withheld your only unique son,
and said, By myself I have sworn, said the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son;
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

The angel of God spoke from Heaven a second time to Abraham: “I swear—God’s sure word!—because you have gone through with this, and have not refused to give me your son, your dear, dear son, I’ll bless you—oh, how I’ll bless you! And I’ll make sure that your children flourish—like stars in the sky! like sand on the beaches! And your descendants will defeat their enemies. All nations on Earth will find themselves blessed through your descendants because you obeyed me.”
and said, “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son,
and said, “I am taking an oath on my own name, declares Yahweh, that because you have done this and have not refused to give me your son, your only son,
and said: “I swear by my very self—oracle of the Lord—that because you acted as you did in not withholding from me your son, your only one,
and said, “By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,

and said, “I swear by my own self, thus says the Lord: because you have done this and did not withhold your son from me, your only son,
