And also that nation whom they shall serve will I judge, and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
But on that nation whom your descendants will serve I will bring judgment, and afterward they will come out [of that land] with great possessions.

However, I will judge the nation they serve, and afterward they will go out with many possessions.

But after I punish the nation they serve, they will leave it with great wealth.
But I will also judge that nation, the one that makes them slaves. Afterwards, they will leave with many possessions.
Then the Lord said: Abram, you will live to an old age and die in peace. But I solemnly promise that your descendants will live as foreigners in a land that doesn't belong to them. They will be forced into slavery and abused for 400 years. But I will terribly punish the nation that enslaves them, and they will leave with many possessions.
But also that nation which they shall serve I will judge; and afterwards they shall come out with great property.
But I will judge the nation which they shall serve, and after this they shall come out with great substance.
But then I will punish the nation that made them slaves. Your people will leave that land, and they will take many good things with them.
But I will punish the people of that country who give them trouble. After this, your descendants will leave that country. They will take many valuable things with them.
But I will surely judge the nation that they will serve. Afterward your descendants will come out with great wealth,

But I will ·punish [judge] the nation ·where they are slaves [L which they serve]. Then your ·descendants [L seed] will leave that land, taking great ·wealth [possessions] with them.
Notwithstanding, the nation whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

God said to Abram, “Know this: your descendants will live as outsiders in a land not theirs; they’ll be enslaved and beaten down for 400 years. Then I’ll punish their slave masters; your offspring will march out of there loaded with plunder. But not you; you’ll have a long and full life and die a good and peaceful death. Not until the fourth generation will your descendants return here; sin is still a thriving business among the Amorites.”

nevertheless I shall deem the folk to whom they shall serve; and after these things they shall go out with great chattel. (nevertheless I shall judge the nation for whom they shall be slaves; and after these things they shall go out with many possessions.)
