Galatians 3:23

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, being shut apart from the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were kept in custody under the Law, [perpetually] imprisoned [in preparation] for the faith that was destined to be revealed,
Now before the faith came, we were perpetually guarded under the Law, kept in custody in preparation for the faith that was destined to be revealed (unveiled, disclosed),
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Before this faith came, we were confined under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed.
Before faith came, we were guarded under the Law, locked up until faith that was coming would be revealed,
Now before the time for this trusting faithfulness came, we were imprisoned in subjection to the system which results from perverting the Torah into legalism, kept under guard until this yet-to-come trusting faithfulness would be revealed.
The Law controlled us and kept us under its power until the time came when we would have faith.
But before faith came, we were guarded under law, shut up to faith [which was] about to be revealed.
And before the faith came, we were being kept-in-custody under the Law— being confined until the faith destined to be revealed.
But before the faith came, we were kept under the law shut up, unto that faith which was to be revealed.
Before this faith came, the law held us as prisoners. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.
But before God showed us the way of faith, the Law had authority over us. God's Law kept us safe, until God showed us that we must believe in Christ.
But before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed.
Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.
Before this faith came, we were all held prisoners by the law. We ·had no freedom [were locked up] until ·God showed us the way of faith that was coming [L the coming faith would be revealed].
But before faith came, we were kept under the Law, as under a garrison, and shut up unto that faith, which should afterward be revealed.
We were kept under control by Moses’ laws until this faith came. We were under their control until this faith which was about to come would be revealed.
But before the time for faith came, the Law kept us all locked up as prisoners until this coming faith should be revealed.
Before this faith came, we were confined under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed.
Before this faith came, we were all held prisoners by the law. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.
Now before faith came about, we were held in custody and confined under the Law in preparation for the faith that was to be revealed.
Before the coming of faith we were all imprisoned under the power of the Law, with our only hope of deliverance the faith that was to be shown to us. Or, to change the metaphor, the Law was like a strict governess in charge of us until we went to the school of Christ and learned to be justified by faith in him. Once we had that faith we were completely free from the governess’s authority.
But before faith came, we were under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
But before faith came, we were held in custody under the Law, being shut up for the coming faith to be revealed.
But before faith came, we were detained under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed.
Until Christ came we were guarded by the law, kept in protective custody, so to speak, until we could believe in the coming Savior.
Until the time when we were mature enough to respond freely in faith to the living God, we were carefully surrounded and protected by the Mosaic law. The law was like those Greek tutors, with which you are familiar, who escort children to school and protect them from danger or distraction, making sure the children will really get to the place they set out for.
But before faith came, we were imprisoned under the law, kept for the faith which was later to be revealed.
Now before faith came, · we were held in custody under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.
We were kept under control by Moses’ laws until this faith came. We were under their control until this faith which was about to come would be revealed.
Before faith came, we were held in custody under law, confined for the faith that was to be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the Law, being confined for the faith that was destined to be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were prisoners of the Law, confined as we waited for the faith that would eventually be revealed.
Before this faith came, we were all held prisoners by the law. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.
Now before faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed.
Before faith in Christ came, we were guarded by the law. We were locked up until this faith was made known.
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.
Before it was possible to be saved from the punishment of sin by putting our trust in Christ, we were held under the Law. It was as if we were being kept in prison. We were kept this way until Christ came.
Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed.
Before faith came, we were kept and shut up under the law, with a view to the faith that would afterward be declared.
Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.
Before this faithfulness arrived, we were kept under guard by the law, in close confinement until the coming faithfulness should be revealed.
But before Emunah came, we were being held in custody, being confined and guarded for the about-to-be- revealed Emunah.
But before faith came, we were kept under the Law, as under guard, and locked up, until that faith which should be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were confined under the law, kept under restraint until faith should be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were confined under the law, kept under restraint until faith should be revealed.
Now before faith came, we were being guarded under Torah—bound together until the coming faith would be revealed.
Before faith came on the scene, the law did its best to keep us in line, restraining us until the faith that was to come was fully revealed.
But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Before one came for us to believe in, the law held us in prison like slaves. We were kept there until the one to believe in should come.
And before that belief came, they were kept under the law, enclosed into that belief that was to be showed. [Forsooth before that the faith came, we were kept under the law, shut together into that faith that was to be showed.]
And before the coming of the faith, under law we were being kept, shut up to the faith about to be revealed,
