“Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries: ‘Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?’
Then said I of her that was old in adulteries, Now will they play the harlot with her, and she with them.
“Then I said concerning the one (Oholah) worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit adultery with her when she is like this?’
Then I said of the one [Aholah] worn out with adulteries, Will they now play the harlot with her [now that she is old] and she with them?
Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?
Then I said concerning this woman worn out by adultery: Will they now have illicit sex with her, even her?
Then I said concerning this woman worn out by adultery: Will they now have illicit sex with her, even her?
Then I thought, For a foolish woman they become adulterers! Incited by her seduction, they prostitute themselves—for her!
I thought, ‘That woman! She’s worn out from all her adulteries, but they still go to fornicate with her!’
and I noticed that the men were eager to have sex with these women, though they were exhausted from being prostitutes.
And I said of her that was old in adulteries, Will she now commit her fornications, even she.
And I said to her that was worn out in her adulteries: Now will this woman still continue in her fornication.
Then I spoke to one of the women who was worn out from her sexual sins. I asked her, ‘Will they continue to do sexual sins with her, and she with them?’
I said this about the woman who had become tired of having sex with so many men: “They will continue to have sex with her, as she is a prostitute.”
Then I said about the woman worn out with adulteries, “Let them keep using her as a whore because that is what she is.”
“Then I said of her who was worn out by adultery, ‘Now they will continue to use her for a whore, even her!’
“Then I said of her who was worn out by adultery, Now they will continue to use her for a whore, even her!
Then I said about the one who was worn out by her acts of adultery, ‘Let them continue their ·sexual sins [prostitution] with her. ·She is nothing but a prostitute [L …even her].’
Then I said unto her that was old in adulteries, Now shall she and her fornications come to an end.
Then I said, ‘She is worn out from her acts of adultery.’ Yet, men continued to have sex with her.
And I said to myself that they were using as a prostitute a woman worn out by adultery.
Then I said concerning this woman worn out by adultery: Will they now have illicit sex with her, even her?
Then I said about the one who was worn out by her acts of adultery, ‘Let them continue their sexual sins with her. She is nothing but a prostitute.’
“After she had worn herself out by her adulterous behavior, I asked her, ‘Will they continue with their sexual immorality and with their prostitution?’
Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Now shalt thy whoredoms come to an end, and she with them;
Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?
Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?
“Then I said concerning her who was worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit harlotry with her when she is thus?’
And I said to the one worn out with adulteries, ‘Now they will prostitute her concerning her fornication, even her.’
Will they commit adultery with these who have become old harlot hags?
“I said, ‘She’s burned out on sex!’ but that didn’t stop them. They kept banging on her doors night and day as men do when they’re after a whore. That’s how they used Oholah and Oholibah, the worn-out whores.
Then I said to her who was worn out by adulteries, “Will they now commit harlotries with her when she is so?”
Then I said, ‘She is worn out from her acts of adultery.’ Yet, men continued to have sex with her.
I said: “That worn-out one still has adulteries in her! Now they engage her as a prostitute and she…”
“Then I said concerning her who was worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit adultery with her when she is like this?’
“Then I said concerning her who was worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit adultery with her when she is thus?’
Then I thought: This woman is worn out with endless acts of adultery, but nevertheless they carry on relentlessly their sexual acts with her.
Then I said about the one who was worn out by her acts of adultery, ‘Let them continue their sexual sins with her. She is nothing but a prostitute.’
Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, ‘Now they will commit immoral acts with her.’
Then I spoke about Oholibah. She was worn out by adultery. I said, ‘Let them use her as a prostitute. After all, that is what she is.’
Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, ‘Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is.’
Then I said about the one worn out by adultery, “Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is.”
Then I said concerning her who had grown old in adulteries, ‘Will they commit harlotry with her now, and she with them?’
Then I said about the one who was worn out by sex sins, ‘Will they now lie with her when she is this way?’
Then I said, ‘If they really want to have sex with old worn-out prostitutes like these, let them!’
Then I said, Ah, she is worn out with adulteries, but they carry on their sexual acts with her.
Then I said, Ah, she is worn out with adulteries, but they carry on their sexual acts with her.
Then I said, Ah, she is worn out with adulteries, but they carry on their sexual acts with her.
Then I said, “Ah, she is worn out with adulteries, but they carry on their sexual acts with her.”
Then said I unto her that was old in niufim (adulteries), Will they now commit zonah harlotry with her, and she with them?
“Then I said to her who was old in adulteries, ‘Now she and her fornications shall come to an end.’
“Then I said, Do not men now commit adultery when they practice harlotry with her?
“Then I said, Do not men now commit adultery when they practice harlotry with her?
Then I said about her, worn out from harlotry: “Still they commit immorality with her—even her?
Then I wondered about this woman who was exhausted from adulterous sex: “Will they still want to sleep with her, here and now?”
Then I said of her who was old in adulteries, ‘Now they will play the prostitute with her, and she with them.’
And I said to her, that was defouled in adulteries, Now also this shall do fornication in her fornication. (And I said to myself about her, who was defiled in her adulteries, that is, by her idolatries, Now they shall also do fornication with her, with her of all women!)
And I say of the worn-out one in adulteries, Now they commit her whoredoms -- she also!
