Sodom and her daughters became too proud and began to do terrible things in front of me. So I punished them!
They were proud and they did whatever they wanted to do. When I saw the disgusting things that they were doing, I removed them.

In their arrogance, they committed detestable practices in my presence, so when I saw it, I removed them.
And they filled themselves with arrogance and committed abomination before me, and when I saw it, I took them away.
And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

She insolently worshiped many idols as I watched. Therefore I crushed her.
“‘The sin of your sister Sodom was this: She lived with her daughters in the lap of luxury—proud, gluttonous, and lazy. They ignored the oppressed and the poor. They put on airs and lived obscene lives. And you know what happened: I did away with them.

They were prideful, and they did abhorrent things right in front of Me, shamelessly and without remorse! As you already know, I put an end to Sodom and her daughters when I saw their behavior.
They were arrogant and committed abomination before me. Therefore I took them away when I saw it.
And they were enhanced, and did other abominations before me; and I took them away, as thou hast seen. (And they were lifted up, that is, they were proud and haughty, and did other abominations before me; and so I took them away, as thou hast seen.)
And they are haughty and do abomination before Me, And I turn them aside when I have seen.
