because the wood of a grapevine can't be used to make anything, not even a small peg to hang things on.

Nobody can use its wood to make anything that is useful. They cannot even make pegs to hang clothes on!

God’s Message came to me: “Son of man, how would you compare the wood of a vine with the branches of any tree you’d find in the forest? Is vine wood ever used to make anything? Is it used to make pegs to hang things from?
Can wood be taken from it to do any work, or can men take a peg of it to hang any vessel on it?
Do people use it to make something? Do they make a peg from it to hang things on?
