Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,
Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart),
Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest,
Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt round your waist, righteousness like armour on your chest,
So stand with the belt of truth around your waist, justice as your breastplate,
Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate,
Be ready! Let the truth be like a belt around your waist, and let God's justice protect you like armor.
Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Stand [firm] therefore, having girded your waist with truth, and having put-on the breastplate of righteousness,
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice,
So stand strong with the belt of truth tied around your waist, and on your chest wear the protection of right living.
So you must stand strongly. This is God's armour that you must wear: God's true message will be like a belt that you tie round your body. Always do what is right. That will be like a metal shirt that you wear to keep your body safe.
Stand, then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness fastened in place,
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

So stand ·strong [or ready], with the belt of truth tied around your waist and the ·body armor [breastplate] of ·right living [a righteous life; or God’s own righteousness/justice; L righteousness].
Stand therefore, and your loins girded about with verity, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,
So then, take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt. Put on God’s approval as your breastplate.
So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate,
Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest,
So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist. And on your chest wear the protection of right living.
Stand firm, therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
In conclusion be strong—not in yourselves but in the Lord, in the power of his boundless resource. Put on God’s complete armour so that you can successfully resist all the devil’s methods of attack. For our fight is not against any physical enemy: it is against organisations and powers that are spiritual. We are up against the unseen power that controls this dark world, and spiritual agents from the very headquarters of evil. Therefore you must wear the whole armour of God that you may be able to resist evil in its day of power, and that even when you have fought to a standstill you may still stand your ground. Take your stand then with truth as your belt, righteousness your breastplate, the Gospel of peace firmly on your feet, salvation as your helmet and in your hand the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Above all be sure you take faith as your shield, for it can quench every burning missile the enemy hurls at you. Pray at all times with every kind of spiritual prayer, keeping alert and persistent as you pray for all Christ’s men and women.

But to do this, you will need the strong belt of truth and the breastplate of God’s approval.
Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Stand firm, then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness clothing you,
So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist and the protection of right living on your chest.
Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,
So remain strong in the faith. Put the belt of truth around your waist. Put the armor of godliness on your chest.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
So stand up and do not be moved. Wear a belt of truth around your body. Wear a piece of iron over your chest which is being right with God.
Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.
Stand, therefore: your loins girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness,

So stand firm! Put the belt of truth round your waist; put on justice as your breastplate;

Stand therefore, having wrapped your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Stand firm then! Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness.
Yes, stand—truth banded around your waist, righteousness as your chest plate,
Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
You have the good news of peace. Wear that like shoes on your feet.
Therefore stand ye, and be girded about your loins in soothfastness [Therefore stand ye, girded about your loins in soothfastness], and clothed with the habergeon of rightwiseness,
