Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near and accused the Jews.

At that time certain Chaldeans came forward and brought [malicious] accusations against the Jews.
Therefore at that time certain men of Chaldean descent came near and brought [malicious] accusations against the Jews.
¶ Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
Some Chaldeans took this occasion to come forward and maliciously accuse the Jews.

At that moment some Chaldeans came forward, seizing a chance to attack the Jews.
But then some Kasdim approached and began denouncing the Jews.
Some Babylonians used this as a chance to accuse the Jews to King Nebuchadnezzar.
Whereupon at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
And presently at that very time some Chaldeans came and accused the Jews,
Then some of the Chaldeans came up to the king and began speaking against the people from Judah.
Then some wise men went to the king. They told him bad things against the Jews.
At that time, some Chaldeans approached the king and maliciously accused the Jews.
Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and maliciously accused the Jews.
Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and maliciously accused the Jews.
Then some ·Babylonians [L Chaldeans] came up to the king and ·began speaking against [denounced; L ate pieces of] the men of Judah.
¶ By reason whereof at that same time came men of the Chaldeans, and grievously accused the Jews.
After that happened, some astrologers came forward and brought charges against the Jews.
It was then that some Babylonians took the opportunity to denounce the Jews.
Some Chaldeans took this occasion to come forward and maliciously accuse the Jews.
Then some Babylonians came up to the king. They began speaking against the men of Judah.
Just then, certain influential Chaldeans took this opportunity to come forward and denounce the Jews.
¶ Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

For this reason at that time certain Chaldeans came near and brought charges against the Jews.
Therefore at this time some astrologers came forward and they denounced the Jews.
But some officials went to the king and accused some of the Jews of refusing to worship!
Just then, some Babylonian fortunetellers stepped up and accused the Jews. They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “Long live the king! You gave strict orders, O king, that when the big band started playing, everyone had to fall to their knees and worship the gold statue, and whoever did not go to their knees and worship it had to be pitched into a roaring furnace. Well, there are some Jews here—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—whom you have placed in high positions in the province of Babylon. These men are ignoring you, O king. They don’t respect your gods and they won’t worship the gold statue you set up.”
Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near and accused the Jews.
After that happened, some astrologers came forward and brought charges against the Jews.

At this time some people who studied the heavens came forward. They spoke against the Jews.
At this time some astrologers came forward and denounced the Jews.

At this time certain ones who learned from stars came up and spoke against the Jews.
But some of the astrologers went to the king and informed on the Jews.
Accordingly, at this time certain Chaldeans came forward and denounced the Jews.

Meanwhile, certain Chaldean leaders stepped forward to make accusations against the Jews.
Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near and brought accusation against the Jews.
And anon in that time men of Chaldea nighed, and accused the Jews, (And at once, the Chaldeans approached, and accused the Jews,)
Therefore at that time drawn near have certain Chaldeans, and accused the Jews;
