And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid in pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.
“They stretch out beside every [pagan] altar on clothes taken in pledge [to secure a loan, disregarding God’s command], And in the house of their God [in contempt of Him] they frivolously drink the wine [which has been] taken from those who have been fined.
And they lay themselves down beside every [pagan] altar upon clothes they have taken in pledge [for indebtedness], and in the house of their God [in daring contempt of Him] they frivolously drink the wine which has been exacted from those [unjustly] fined.
And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
They stretch out beside every altar on garments taken as collateral, and in the house of their God they drink wine obtained through fines.
They stretch out beside every altar on garments taken in loan; in the house of their god they drink wine bought with fines they imposed.

They lie down beside altars on clothes taken as security for loans. And they drink wine in my temple, wine bought with the money they received from fines.
And they lay [themselves] down by every altar upon clothes taken in pledge, and they drink [in] the house of their God the wine of the condemned.
And they sat down upon garments laid to pledge by every altar: and drank the wine of the condemned in the house of their God.
They took clothes from the poor, and then they sat on those clothes while worshiping at their altars. They loaned money to the poor, and then they took their clothes as a promise for payment. They made people pay fines and used the money to buy wine for themselves to drink in the temple of their god.
When they lend money to poor people, they take the poor people's clothes. They do not return the clothes each night, as they should do. Instead they sleep on the clothes themselves. They do that at the places where they worship their gods. The rich people take money from poor people. They use that money to buy wine for themselves. Then they drink the wine in the temples of their gods.
They stretch themselves out beside every altar on pieces of clothing they seized as collateral. In the temple of their gods they drink wine obtained through fines.

At every place of worship people sleep on clothing that they have taken from the poor as security for debts. In the temple of their God they drink wine which they have taken from those who owe them money.
They stretch out beside every altar on garments taken as collateral, and in the house of their God, they drink wine obtained through fines.
As they worship at their altars, they lie down on clothes taken from poor people. They make people pay money as punishment. With that money they buy wine to drink in the house of their god.
They lay down beside every altar, on garments pledged as collateral, drinking wine paid for through fines imposed by the temple of their gods.

At their religious feasts they lounge in clothing stolen from their debtors, and in my own Temple they offer sacrifices of wine they purchased with stolen money.
God’s Message: “Because of the three great sins of Israel —make that four—I’m not putting up with them any longer. They buy and sell upstanding people. People for them are only things—ways of making money. They’d sell a poor man for a pair of shoes. They’d sell their own grandmother! They grind the penniless into the dirt, shove the luckless into the ditch. Everyone and his brother sleeps with the ‘sacred whore’— a sacrilege against my Holy Name. Stuff they’ve extorted from the poor is piled up at the shrine of their god, While they sit around drinking wine they’ve conned from their victims.
They recline by every altar on garments taken in pledge, and in the house of their gods they drink the wine from those who have been fined.
Beside every altar, they spread themselves out on clothes taken as security. In the temples of their gods, they drink the wine that they bought with fines.
Upon garments taken in pledge they recline beside any altar. Wine at treasury expense they drink in their temples.
And on garments seized as pledges they stretch out beside every altar, And in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

They lie down beside every altar upon garments acquired as surety, while drinking in the house of their God the wine purchased with the fines they impose.
As they worship at their altars, they lie down on clothes taken from the poor. They fine people, and with that money they buy wine to drink in the house of their god.
They stretch out on clothing seized as collateral; they do so right beside every altar! They drink wine bought with the fines they have levied; they do so right in the temple of their God!
They lie down beside every altar on clothes they have taken. They lie on those clothes until the owner pays back what is owed. In the house of their God they drink wine that was paid as fines.
They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. In the house of their god they drink wine taken as fines.

At their religious festivals, they lounge in clothing their debtors put up as security. In the house of their gods, they drink wine bought with unjust fines.

And the religious lie beside every altar on garments taken as collateral from their debtors; And in the house of their pagan god, they drink wine bought with the fines they have imposed on others.
and they lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.
And they ate on clothes laid to wed beside each altar, and drank the wine of condemned men in the house of their God. (And they lie down beside each altar, on clothes taken as a pledge from the poor, and drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their gods.)
And on pledged garments they stretch themselves near every altar, And the wine of fined ones they drink [in] the house of their gods.
