Thus saith the Lord: “For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.
Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.
Thus says the Lord, “For three transgressions of Damascus and for four (multiplied delinquencies) I shall not reverse its punishment or revoke My word concerning it, Because they have threshed Gilead [east of the Jordan River] with sharp iron sledges [having spikes that crushed and shredded].
Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Damascus [the capital of Syria] and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because they have threshed Gilead [east of the Jordan River] with iron sledges.
Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Damascus for three crimes, even four, because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.

The Lord proclaims: For three crimes of Damascus, and for four, I won’t hold back the punishment, because they have harvested Gilead with sharp iron tools.
Here is what Adonai says: “For Dammesek’s three crimes, no, four — I will not reverse it — because they threshed Gil‘ad with an iron-spiked threshing-sledge;
The Lord said: I will punish Syria for countless crimes, and I won't change my mind. They dragged logs with spikes over the people of Gilead.
Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke [my sentence], because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.
Thus saith the Lord: For three crimes of Damascus, and for four I will not convert it: because they have thrashed Galaad with iron wains.
This is what the Lord says: “I will definitely punish the people of Damascus for the many crimes they did. They crushed the people of Gilead with iron threshing tools.
The Lord says, ‘The people in Damascus have done more and more wrong things. So I will certainly punish them! They have been cruel to the people in Gilead. They used their iron weapons to tear them into pieces.
This is what the Lord says: Because of three sins of Damascus, because of four, I will not hold back judgment, because they cut up Gilead with iron threshing boards.
Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing sledges of iron.
Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing sledges of iron.
This is what the Lord says: “For ·the many [L three, even four] ·crimes [sins; transgressions] of Damascus, I will ·punish them [L not turn back/grant a reprieve]. They ·drove over [beat down; L threshed] the people of Gilead with threshing boards ·that had iron teeth [L of iron].
¶ Thus saith the Lord, For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn to it, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.
This is what the Lord says: Because Damascus has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, I will not change my plans. The Arameans have crushed ⌞the people of⌟ Gilead with iron-spiked threshing sledges.
The Lord says, “The people of Damascus have sinned again and again, and for this I will certainly punish them. They treated the people of Gilead with savage cruelty.
The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Damascus for three crimes, even four, because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.
This is what the Lord says: “For the many crimes Damascus is doing, I will punish them. They beat the people of Gilead with threshing boards that had iron teeth.
This is what the Lord says: “For three transgressions of Damascus —and now for a fourth— I will not turn away; because they have trampled down Gilead with ironclad threshing sleds.
¶ Thus hath the LORD said: For three transgressions of Damascus and for the fourth, I will not convert her because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

The Lord says, “The people of Damascus have sinned again and again, and I will not forget it. I will not leave her unpunished anymore. For they have threshed my people in Gilead as grain is threshed with iron rods.
God’s Message: “Because of the three great sins of Damascus —make that four—I’m not putting up with her any longer. She pounded Gilead to a pulp, pounded her senseless with iron hammers and mauls. For that, I’m setting the palace of Hazael on fire. I’m torching Ben-hadad’s forts. I’m going to smash the Damascus gates and banish the crime king who lives in Sin Valley, the vice boss who gives orders from Paradise Palace. The people of the land will be sent back to where they came from—to Kir.” God’s Decree.
