And David did so, as Jehovah had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou comest to Gezer.
And David did as the Lord had commanded him, and he smote the Philistines from Gabaa until thou come to Gezer.
David did what the Lord commanded him to do, and he defeated the Philistines. He chased them from Geba to Gezer, killing them all along the way.
So David did as the Lord had commanded him to do. His men chased the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.
