And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people; for the people heard say that day, The king grieveth for his son.
So the victory on that day was turned into mourning for all the people, for the people heard it said on that day, “The king grieves for his son.”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people, for they heard it said, The king grieves for his son.
And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.
That day’s victory was turned into mourning for all the troops because on that day the troops heard, “The king is grieving over his son.”
That day’s victory was turned into mourning for all the troops because on that day the troops heard, ‘The king is grieving over his son.’
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the troops because they heard that day that the king was grieving for his son.
Yo’av was told, “The king is weeping, mourning for Avshalom.”
David's army found out he was crying because his son had died, and their day of victory suddenly turned into a day of sadness.
And the victory that day was [turned] into mourning for all the people; for the people heard say that day, The king is grieved for his son.
And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day: The king grieveth for his son.
So the joy of victory turned to sadness for everyone. It was a very sad day because the people heard, “The king is mourning for his son.”
All the people heard the news that the king was very sad about his son's death. King David's army had won the battle, so everyone should have been very happy. But instead, they were all sad.
The victory that day became an occasion for mourning for all the people, because that day the people heard that the king was mourning for his son.
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people, for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people, for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
David’s army had won the battle that day. But ·it became a very sad day for all the people [L the victory that day turned to mourning], because they heard that the king was ·very sad [grieving] for his son.
Therefore the victory of that day was turned into mourning to all the people: for the people heard say that day, The King sorroweth for his son.
The victory of that day was turned into mourning because all the troops heard that the king was grieving for his son.
And so the joy of victory was turned into sadness for all of David's troops that day, because they heard that the king was mourning for his son.
That day’s victory was turned into mourning for all the troops because on that day the troops heard, “The king is grieving over his son.”

The victory had become an occasion for the army to mourn, because on that very day the troops heard the announcement, “The king is grieving for his son!”
And that day the salvation was turned into mourning for all the people, for the people heard it said that day how the king was grieved for his son.
And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.
And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.
And the salvation that day was turned to mourning for all the people, for the people heard it said that day, “The king is grieved for his son.”
so the victory turned to mourning on that day for all the army, because they had heard that day, “The king is grieving over his son.”
As the people heard of the king’s deep grief for his son, the joy of that day’s wonderful victory was turned into deep sadness.
Joab was told that David was weeping and lamenting over Absalom. The day’s victory turned into a day of mourning as word passed through the army, “David is grieving over his son.” The army straggled back to the city that day demoralized, dragging their tails. And the king held his face in his hands and lamented loudly, O my son Absalom, Absalom my dear, dear son!
The victory that day was turned into mourning for all of the people, for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
The victory of that day was turned into mourning because all the troops heard that the king was grieving for his son.
Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom,”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people, because the people heard it said that day, “The king is in mourning over his son.”
The victory that day was turned to mourning for all the people, for the people heard it said that day, “The king is grieved for his son.”
Therefore, that day’s victory was turned into one of mourning for the entire army when the troops heard the report: “The king is grieving for his son.”
David’s army had won the battle that day. But it became a very sad day for all the people, because they heard that the king was very sad for his son.
So the victory of that day was turned to mourning as far as all the people were concerned. For the people heard on that day, “The king is grieved over his son.”
The army had won a great battle that day. But their joy turned into sadness. That’s because someone had told the troops, “The king is filled with sorrow because his son is dead.”
And for the whole army the victory that day was turned into mourning, because on that day the troops heard it said, “The king is grieving for his son.”
And for the whole army the victory that day was turned into mourning, because on that day the troops heard it said, ‘The king is grieving for his son.’
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people. For the people heard it said that day, “The king is grieved for his son.”
So the happiness of winning the battle that day was changed to sorrow for all the people. For they heard that day, “The king is filled with sorrow for his son.”
As all the people heard of the king’s deep grief for his son, the joy of that day’s victory was turned into deep sadness.
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the troops; for the troops heard that day, ‘The king is grieving for his son.’
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the troops; for the troops heard that day, ‘The king is grieving for his son.’
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the troops; for the troops heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the troops, for the troops heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
And the teshu’ah (salvation, deliverance) on that day was turned into evel (mourning) unto kol HaAm; for the people heard say that day how HaMelech was grieved for bno.
Therefore, the victory of that day was turned into mourning for all the people. For the people heard say that day, “The king sorrows for his son.”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people; for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
So the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people; for the people heard that day, “The king is grieving for his son.”
Then Joab was told, “Look, the king is weeping and mourning over Absalom!”
and the mood shifted from celebration to sorrow, for all the soldiers heard that the king was grieving for his son.
The victory that day was turned into mourning among all the people, for the people heard it said that day, “The king grieves for his son.”
and the victory in that day was turned into mourning to all the people; for the people heard, that it was said in that day, The king maketh sorrow on his son. (and so the victory that day was turned into mourning for all the people; for the people heard, that it was said that day, The king sorroweth for his son.)
and the salvation on that day becometh mourning to all the people, for the people hath heard on that day, saying, `The king hath been grieved for his son.'
