And Elijah said unto him, “Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the Lord hath sent me to the Jordan.” And he said, “As the Lord liveth and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee.” And the two went on.
And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.
Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.

Elijah then said to Elisha, “Now the Lord wants me to go to the Jordan River, but you must stay here.” Elisha replied, “I swear by the living Lord and by your own life that I will never leave you!” So the two of them walked on together.
And Elijah said to him, Abide here, I pray thee; for Jehovah has sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee! And they two went on.
And Elias said to him: Stay here, because the Lord hath sent me as far as the Jordan. And he said: As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee; and they two went on together,
Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, because the Lord told me to go to the Jordan River.” Elisha answered, “I promise, as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you!” So the two men went on.
Then Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Stay here, because the Lord has sent me to the Jordan River.’ But Elisha replied, ‘I will not leave you. I promise that, as surely as the Lord lives and as surely as you live.’ So they continued to travel together.
Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here because the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.
Then Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.

Elijah also spoke to him, “Elisha, remain here on this side, please, because the Lord is sending me to the Jordan River.” But Elisha responded, “As the Lord lives, and while you’re still alive, I’m not going to leave you!” So they went on their way,

Then Elijah said to him, “Please stay here, because Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As Yahweh lives and as your soul lives, I will certainly not leave you!” So the two of them went on.
Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan River.” But Elisha replied as before, “I swear to God that I won’t leave you.” So they went on together and stood beside the Jordan River as fifty of the young prophets watched from a distance.
Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here. God has sent me on an errand to the Jordan.” Elisha said, “Not on your life! I’m not letting you out of my sight!” And so the two of them went their way together.
Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” And he said, “As the Lord lives, and as you live, I will not leave you.” And the two of them went on.
Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here because Yahweh is sending me to the Jordan River.” Elisha answered, “I solemnly swear, as Yahweh lives and as you live, I will not abandon you.”

Then Elijah said to him, “I ask you to stay here. For the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” And Elisha said, “As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.
Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to the Jordan River.” But again Elisha replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together.
Then Elijah said to him, ‘Stay here; for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.’ But he said, ‘As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.’ So the two of them went on.

Elijah (to Elisha): I beg you to remain here. The Eternal One has commanded me to travel to the Jordan River. Elisha: As certain as your own life and the life of the Eternal, I refuse to abandon you. So the two men then traveled to the Jordan River together.
Elijah said to him, “Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” Then they both went on.
Forsooth Elijah said to Elisha, Sit thou here, for the Lord [hath] sent me to (the) Jordan (River). Which said, (As) The Lord liveth, and (as) thy soul liveth, for I shall not forsake thee. Therefore (they) both went together;
And Elijah saith to him, `Abide, I pray thee, here, for Jehovah hath sent me to the Jordan;' and he saith, `Jehovah liveth, and thy soul liveth, if I leave thee;' and they go on both of them,
