and he commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.
and commanded Judah to seek Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.
And he commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers [to inquire of and for Him and seek Him as a vital necessity], and to observe the law [given to Moses] and the commandment.
And commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers [to inquire of and for Him and crave Him as a vital necessity], and to obey the law and the commandment.
And commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.
He told the people of Judah to seek the Lord God of their ancestors and to carry out the instruction and the commands.

He removed the high places and pillars for sun-worship from all the cities of Y’hudah, and under him the kingdom was quiet.
Then he told everyone in Judah to worship the Lord God, just as their ancestors had done, and to obey his laws and teachings.

And he commanded Juda to seek the Lord the God of their fathers, and to do the law, and all the commandments.
He commanded the people of Judah to follow the Lord, the God their ancestors had worshiped, and to obey his laws and commands.
Asa commanded the people of Judah to worship the Lord, the God of their ancestors. He told them to obey God's law and his commands.
He told Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, and to obey his law and command.

Asa commanded the people of Judah to ·follow [seek] the Lord, the God of their ·ancestors [fathers], and to obey his ·teachings [instructions; laws] and commandments.
And commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do according to the Law and the Commandment.
He told the people of Judah to dedicate their lives to serving the Lord God of their ancestors and follow his teachings and commands.
He commanded the people of Judah to do the will of the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his teachings and commands.
He told the people of Judah to seek the Lord God of their ancestors and to carry out the instruction and the commands.
Asa commanded the people of Judah to obey the Lord, the God their ancestors followed. Asa commanded them to obey the Lord’s teachings and commandments.

and commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and they fulfilled the law and the commandments.
And commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.

And he commanded Judah to seek Yahweh, the God of their ancestors, and to keep the law and the commandment.
and demanded that the entire nation obey the commandments of the Lord God of their ancestors.
Asa was a good king. He did things right in God’s eyes. He cleaned house: got rid of the pagan altars and shrines, smashed the sacred stone pillars, and chopped down the sex-and-religion groves (Asherim). He told Judah to center their lives in God, the God of their fathers, to do what the law said, and to follow the commandments. Because he got rid of all the pagan shrines and altars in the cities of Judah, his kingdom was at peace. Because the land was quiet and there was no war, he was able to build up a good defense system in Judah. God kept the peace.
Then he urged Judah to seek the Lord the God of their fathers and to keep the law and commandments.
He told the people of Judah to dedicate their lives to serving Yahweh Elohim of their ancestors and follow his teachings and commands.
He removed the high places and incense stands from all the cities of Judah, and under him the kingdom had peace.
and commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers and to comply with the Law and the commandment.
and commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers and to observe the law and the commandment.
Throughout all the cities of Judah he removed the high places and the incense altars, and under him the kingdom was at peace.
Asa commanded the people of Judah to follow the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his teachings and commandments.
He ordered Judah to seek the Lord God of their ancestors and to observe his law and commands.
He commanded Judah to worship the Lord, the God of their people. He commanded them to obey the Lord’s laws and commands.
He commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his laws and commands.

And commanded Yehudah to seek Hashem Elohei Avoteihem, and to observe the Torah and the Mitzvah.
and commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do according to the Law and the Commandment.

and commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, and to keep the law and the commandment.
He also removed the high places and the incense stands out of all the cities of Judah. So the kingdom remained untroubled under him.
by removing remnants of idol worship in Judah: foreign altars and high places, incense altars, sacred pillars, and statues of Asherah. Asa commanded Judah to seek the Eternal One, the True God of their ancestors, and to obey His laws and commandments. The kingdom was peaceful during Asa’s reign.
and commanded Judah to seek Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and to obey his law and command.
and he commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to do the law and all [the] commandments. (and he commanded the people of Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to obey the Law and all the commandments.)
