Now the Spirit of Adonai had left Sha’ul; instead, an evil spirit from Adonai would suddenly come over him.
The Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord was terrifying him.
And the Spirit of Jehovah departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Jehovah troubled him.
But the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
The Lord’s Spirit left Saul. Then the Lord sent an evil spirit to Saul that caused him much trouble.
The Spirit of the Lord had now gone away from Saul. The Lord sent an evil spirit to Saul. It gave Saul trouble and fear in his mind.
The Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him.
But the Lord’s Spirit ·had left [departed from] Saul, and an ·evil [tormenting] spirit from the Lord ·troubled [terrorized; afflicted] him.
¶ But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit sent of the Lord, vexed him.
Now, the Lord’s Spirit had left Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.

Now the Spirit of Yahweh departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh terrorized him.

But the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and instead, the Lord had sent a tormenting spirit that filled him with depression and fear.
At that very moment the Spirit of God left Saul and in its place a black mood sent by God settled on him. He was terrified.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and an evil spirit from the Lord terrified him.
Now, the Ruach Yahweh had left Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh tormented him.
The spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and he was tormented by an evil spirit from the Lord.
Now the Spirit of the Lord left Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord terrified him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord terrorized him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit oppressed him.
But the Lord’s Spirit had left Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord had turned away from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
The Spirit of the Lord had left Saul. And an evil spirit sent by the Lord terrified him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.

But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord left Saul. And a bad spirit sent from the Lord brought trouble upon him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and the Lord sent a tormenting spirit that filled him with depression and fear.
Now the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Now the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul; and a spirit of misery from the LORD troubled him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.
Now the Ruach Adonai had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Adonai terrified him.
The Spirit of the Eternal left Saul, and an evil spirit sent from the Eternal One tormented him.
Now Yahweh’s Spirit departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh troubled him.
And so the Spirit of the Lord went away from Saul, and a wicked spirit of the Lord travailed Saul (and then a wicked spirit from the Lord tormented him).
And the Spirit of Jehovah turned aside from Saul, and a spirit of sadness from Jehovah terrified him;
