1 Peter 3:17

For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for welldoing than for evildoing.
For it is better, if the will of God should so will, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil-doing.
For it is better that you suffer [unjustly] for doing what is right, if that should be God’s will, than [to suffer justly] for doing wrong.
For [it is] better to suffer [unjustly] for doing right, if that should be God’s will, than to suffer [justly] for doing wrong.
For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
It is better to suffer for doing good (if this could possibly be God’s will) than for doing evil.
For if God has in fact willed that you should suffer, it is better that you suffer for doing what is good than for doing what is evil.
You are better off to obey God and suffer for doing right than to suffer for doing wrong.
For [it is] better, if the will of God should will it, to suffer [as] well-doers than [as] evildoers;
For it is better to be suffering while doing-good, if the will of God should [so] will it, than while doing-evil.
For it is better doing well (if such be the will of God) to suffer, than doing ill.
It is better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong. Yes, it is better if that is what God wants.
Sometimes God may let you have trouble and pain even when you have done good things. But that is better than if you have trouble and pain because you have done bad things.
Indeed, it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil,
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil.
It is better to suffer for doing good than for doing ·wrong [evil] if that is ·what God wants [the will of God].
For it is better (if the will of God be so) that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
After all, if it is God’s will, it’s better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if this should be God's will, than for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
It is better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong. Yes, it is better, if that is what God wants.
After all, if it is the will of God, it is better to suffer for doing right than for doing wrong.
If it is the will of God that you should suffer it is really better to suffer unjustly than because you have deserved it. Remember that Christ the just suffered for us the unjust, to bring us to God. That meant the death of his body, but he came to life again in the spirit. It was in the spirit that he went and preached to the imprisoned souls of those who had been disobedient in the days of Noah—the days of God’s great patience during the period of the building of the ark, in which eventually only eight souls were saved in the flood. And I cannot help pointing out what a perfect illustration this is of the way you have been admitted to the safety of the Christian “ark” by baptism, which means, of course, far more than the mere washing of a dirty body: it means the ability to face God with a clear conscience. For there is in every true baptism the virtue of Christ’s rising from the dead. And he has now entered Heaven and is at God’s right hand, with all angels, authorities and powers subservient to him.
For it is better (if the will of God so desires) that ye suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing good rather than for doing wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if God wills it, than for doing evil.
Remember, if God wants you to suffer, it is better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong!
If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God.
For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if it is · God’s will, · than for doing evil.
After all, if it is God’s will, it’s better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that be the will of God, than for doing evil.
For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.
For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing what is right, if such is the will of God, than for doing what is wrong.
It is better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong if that is what God wants.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if God wills it, than for doing evil.
God may want you to suffer for doing good. That’s better than suffering for doing evil.
For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
If God wants you to suffer, it is better to suffer for doing what is right than for doing what is wrong.
Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!
It is better (if the will of God be so) that you suffer for well-doing, than for evil-doing.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God’s will, than to suffer for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God’s will, than to suffer for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God’s will, than to suffer for doing evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if suffering should be God’s will, than to suffer for doing evil.
It’s better to suffer for good conduct (if God so wills it) than for bad.
For im yirtzeh Hashem (if the L-rd wills), it is better to suffer tzoros for doing mitzvot than for doing ra’ah.
For it is better (if it is the will of God) to suffer for doing good rather than evil.
For it is better to suffer for doing right, if that should be God’s will, than for doing wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing right, if that should be God’s will, than for doing wrong.
For it is better to suffer for doing good (if it is God’s will) than for doing evil.
For if it is the will of God that you suffer, then it is better to suffer for doing what is right than for doing what is wrong.
For it is better, if it is God’s will, that you suffer for doing well than for doing evil.
It is better to have trouble for doing right, if God allows it, than to have trouble for doing wrong.
For it is better that ye do well, and suffer, if the will of God will, than doing evil. [Soothly it is better, if the will of God will, ye well-doing, to suffer, than evil-doing.]
for [it is] better doing good, if the will of God will it, to suffer, than doing evil;
