God said: Solomon, I'm pleased that you asked for this. You could have asked to live a long time or to be rich. Or you could have asked for your enemies to be destroyed. Instead, you asked for wisdom to make right decisions.
And the word pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
And the word was pleasing to the Lord that Solomon had asked such a thing.
The Lord was happy that Solomon asked for wisdom.
The Lord God was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.
In the eyes of the Lord, Solomon’s request was good.
It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this.
It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this.
The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked this.
And this pleased the Lord well, that Solomon had desired this thing.

The word was good in the eyes of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.
The Lord was pleased with his reply and was glad that Solomon had asked for wisdom.
God, the Master, was delighted with Solomon’s response. And God said to him, “Because you have asked for this and haven’t grasped after a long life, or riches, or the doom of your enemies, but you have asked for the ability to lead and govern well, I’ll give you what you’ve asked for—I’m giving you a wise and mature heart. There’s never been one like you before; and there’ll be no one after. As a bonus, I’m giving you both the wealth and glory you didn’t ask for—there’s not a king anywhere who will come up to your mark. And if you stay on course, keeping your eye on the life-map and the God-signs as your father David did, I’ll also give you a long life.”
It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this.
Adonay was pleased that Solomon asked for this.
The Lord was pleased by Solomon’s request.
Now it was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.

The Lord was delighted by Solomon’s request.

And the thing is good in the eyes of the Lord, that Solomon hath asked this thing,
