Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
My little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
Little children (believers, dear ones), do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who practices righteousness [the one who strives to live a consistently honorable life—in private as well as in public—and to conform to God’s precepts] is righteous, just as He is righteous.
Boys (lads), let no one deceive and lead you astray. He who practices righteousness [who is upright, conforming to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action, living a consistently conscientious life] is righteous, even as He is righteous.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
Little children, let no one deceive you. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
Little children, let no one deceive you. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
Little children, make sure no one deceives you. The person who practices righteousness is righteous, in the same way that Jesus is righteous.
Children, don’t let anyone deceive you — it is the person that keeps on doing what is right who is righteous, just as God is righteous.
Children, don't be fooled. Anyone who does right is good, just like Christ himself.
Children, let no man lead you astray; he that practises righteousness is righteous, even as *he* is righteous.
Little-children, let no one be deceiving you— the one doing righteousness is righteous, just as that One is righteous.
Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doth justice is just, even as he is just.
Dear children, don’t let anyone lead you into the wrong way. Christ always did what was right. So to be good like Christ, you must do what is right.
My little children, do not let anyone deceive you about sin. It is people who live in a good way that God accepts as right. In the same way, Jesus did only what is good and right.
Dear children, do not let anyone deceive you. Whoever does what is right is righteous just as Jesus is righteous.
Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.

Dear children [2:1], do not let anyone ·lead you the wrong way [deceive you]. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as ·Christ [L he] is righteous.

Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you. Whoever does what God approves of has God’s approval as Christ has God’s approval.
Let no one deceive you, my children! Whoever does what is right is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.

Dear children, do not let any person lead you the wrong way. Christ is righteous. To be like Christ, a person must do what is right.
Little children, don’t let anyone deceive you. The person who practices righteousness is righteous, just as the Messiah is righteous.
You, my children, are younger than I am, and I don’t want you to be taken in by any clever talk just here. The man who lives a consistently good life is a good man, as surely as God is good. But the man whose life is habitually sinful is spiritually a son of the devil, for the devil is behind all sin, as he always has been. Now the Son of God came to earth with the express purpose of liquidating the devil’s activities. The man who is really God’s son does not practise sin, for God’s nature is in him, for good, and such a heredity is incapable of sin.
Little children, let no one deceive you; he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he also is righteous.

Oh, dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: if you are constantly doing what is good, it is because you are good, even as he is.
So, my dear children, don’t let anyone divert you from the truth. It’s the person who acts right who is right, just as we see it lived out in our righteous Messiah. Those who make a practice of sin are straight from the Devil, the pioneer in the practice of sin. The Son of God entered the scene to abolish the Devil’s ways.

Children, don’t let anyone pull one over on you. The one doing the right thing is just imitating Jesus, the Righteous One.

My children, do not let anyone fool you. Anyone who does what is good, is good just as Christ is good.
