1 Corinthians 9:11
Print
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it so great a thing if we should reap your worldly things?
If we sowed unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we shall reap your carnal things?
If we have sown [the good seed of] spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?
If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it so much to ask to harvest some material things from you?
If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?
When we told the message to you, it was like planting spiritual seed. So we have the right to accept material things as our harvest from you.
If we have sown to you spiritual things, [is it a] great [thing] if *we* shall reap your carnal things?
If we sowed spiritual things to you, is it a great thing if we shall reap fleshly things from you?
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?
We planted spiritual seed among you, so we should be able to harvest from you some things for this life. Surely that is not asking too much.
Our spiritual work among you is like we have planted seeds. In return, you should give to us the food and clothes that we need to live. That is like the harvest that we should receive from our work.
If we sowed spiritual seed for your good, is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?
If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
·Since [If] we ·planted [sowed] spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we should harvest material things from you [C receive support for ministry]?
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your carnal things?
If we have planted the spiritual seed that has been of benefit to you, is it too much if we receive part of the harvest from your earthly goods?
We have sown spiritual seed among you. Is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?
If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?
We planted spiritual seed among you. So we should be able to harvest from you some things for this life. Surely this is not asking too much.
If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap material benefits from you?
Now does this imply merely God’s care for oxen, or does it include his care for us too? Surely we are included! You might even say that the words were written for us. For both the ploughman as he ploughs, and the thresher as he threshes should have some hope of an ultimate share in the harvest. If we have sown for you the seed of spiritual things need you be greatly perturbed because we reap some of your material things? And if there are others with the right to have these things from you, have not we an even greater right? Yet we have never exercised this right and have put up with all sorts of things, so that we might not hinder the spread of the Gospel.
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap material things from you?
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too great a thing if we reap material things from you?
We have planted good spiritual seed in your souls. Is it too much to ask, in return, for mere food and clothing?
I’m not just sounding off because I’m irritated. This is all written in the scriptural law. Moses wrote, “Don’t muzzle an ox to keep it from eating the grain when it’s threshing.” Do you think Moses’ primary concern was the care of farm animals? Don’t you think his concern extends to us? Of course. Farmers plow and thresh expecting something when the crop comes in. So if we have planted spiritual seed among you, is it out of line to expect a meal or two from you? Others demand plenty from you in these ways. Don’t we who have never demanded deserve even more? But we’re not going to start demanding now what we’ve always had a perfect right to. Our decision all along has been to put up with anything rather than to get in the way or detract from the Message of Christ. All I’m concerned with right now is that you not use our decision to take advantage of others, depriving them of what is rightly theirs. You know, don’t you, that it’s always been taken for granted that those who work in the Temple live off the proceeds of the Temple, and that those who offer sacrifices at the altar eat their meals from what has been sacrificed? Along the same lines, the Master directed that those who spread the Message be supported by those who believe the Message.
If we have sown for you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your material things?
If we sowed spiritual things among you, · is it too much if we reap material things from you? ·
If we have planted the spiritual seed that has been of benefit to you, is it too much if we receive part of the harvest from your earthly goods?
If we have sown spiritual seed for you, is it a great thing that we reap a material harvest from you?
If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
If we have sown a spiritual crop for you, is it unreasonable for us to expect from you a material harvest?
Since we planted spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we should harvest material things?
If we sowed spiritual blessings among you, is it too much to reap material things from you?
We have planted spiritual seed among you. Is it too much to ask that we receive from you some things we need?
If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?
If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?
If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things?
We have planted God’s Word among you. Is it too much to expect you to give us what we need to live each day?
Since we have planted spiritual seed among you, aren’t we entitled to a harvest of physical food and drink?
If we sow spiritual things unto you, is it a great matter if we reap your carnal things?
If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?
If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?
If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?
If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we harvest material things?
So if we have sown spiritual things among you, is it such a big thing that we should reap worldly things?
If we sowed spiritual things to you, is it too much if we reap in material things from you? [Ro 15:27]
If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap earthly things from you?
If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?
If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?
If we sowed spiritual things into you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
The same principle applies here: Is it too much to ask that we would be compensated materially for planting life- and world-changing spiritual realities?
If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?
We have planted seed by teaching you the good things of the Spirit. So we should receive something from you to help us to pay for our living.
If we sow spiritual things to you, is it great, if we reap your fleshly things?
If we to you the spiritual things did sow -- great [is it] if we your fleshly things do reap?
