7 The (A)watchmen who make the rounds in the city found me,
They struck me and wounded me;
The guards of the walls took my shawl away from me.

They beat me, they bruised me;
they took away my cloak,
those watchmen of the walls!
Isaiah 21:6-8

6 For this is what the Lord says to me:
“Go, station the lookout, have him (A)report what he sees.
7 When he sees [a]a (B)column of chariots, horsemen in pairs,
A train of donkeys, a train of camels,
He is to pay close attention, very close attention.”

“(C)Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower,
And I am stationed every night at my guard post.
