^4 [a](A)Far from it! Rather, God must prove to be true, though every person be found ^(B)a liar, as it is written:

^6 (A)Far from it! For otherwise, how will ^(B)God judge the world?

³¹ Do we then nullify ^[a]the Law through faith? ^(A)Far from it! On the contrary, we ^(B)establish the Law.

^2 [a](A)Far from it! How shall we who ^(B)died to sin still live in it?

¹⁵ What then? ^(A)Are we to sin because we are not under ^[a]the Law but under grace? ^[b](B)Far from it!

^7 (A)What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? ^(B)[a]Far from it! On the contrary, ^(C)I would not have come to know sin except ^[b]through the Law; for I would not have known about ^[c]coveting if the Law had not said, “^(D)You shall not ^[d]covet.”

¹³ Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? ^[a](A)Far from it! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by bringing about my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

^14 (A)What shall we say then? ^(B)There is no injustice with God, is there? ^[a](C)Far from it!

Israel Has Not Been Rejected

11 I say then, God has not ^(A)rejected His people, has He? ^[a](B)Far from it! For ^(C)I too am an Israelite, ^[b]a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
