³¹ that I may be ^(A)rescued from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my ^(B)service for Jerusalem may prove acceptable to the ^[a](C)saints;

^19 (A)and not only that, but he has also been ^(B)appointed by the churches to travel with us in ^(C)this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and to show our ^(D)readiness, ^20 [a]taking precaution so that no one will discredit us in our administration of this generous gift; ²¹ for we ^(E)have regard for what is honorable, not only in ^(F)the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of other people. ²² We have sent with them our brother, whom we have often tested and found diligent in many things, but now even more diligent because of his great confidence in you. ²³ As for ^(G)Titus, he is my ^(H)partner and fellow worker ^[b]among you; as for our ^(I)brothers, they are ^[c](J)messengers of the churches, ^(K)a glory to Christ. ²⁴ Therefore, ^[d]openly before the churches, ^[e]show them the proof of your love and of our ^(L)reason for boasting about you.

God Gives Most

9 For ^(A)it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ^(B)ministry to the ^[a]saints;

¹² For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying ^(A)the needs of the ^[a]saints, but is also overflowing ^(B)through many thanksgivings to God. ¹³ Because of the proof given by this ^(C)ministry, they will ^(D)glorify God for your obedience to your ^(E)confession of the ^(F)gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your ^[b]contribution to them and to all, ¹⁴ while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. ^15 (G)Thanks be to God for His indescribable ^(H)gift!
