Romans 14:20-22

²⁰^(A)Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. ^(B)All things indeed are clean, but ^(C)they are evil for the person who eats ^[a]and causes offense. ²¹^(D)It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother or sister stumbles. ²²The faith which you have, have ^[b]as your own conviction before God. Happy is the one who ^(E)does not condemn himself in what he approves.

Romans 14:20-22

New International Version

²⁰Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food.^(A) All food is clean,^(B) but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.^(C) ²¹It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.^(D)

²²So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn^(E) himself by what he approves.
