Romans 10:17-19
New American Standard Bible

17 So faith comes from (A)hearing, and hearing by (B)the word [a]of Christ.

18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? On the contrary:

“(C)Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the [b]world.”

19 But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says,

“(D)I will (E)make you jealous with those who are not a nation,
With a foolish nation I will anger you.”

New International Version

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message,(A) and the message is heard through the word about Christ.(B) 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:

“Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.”[a](C)

19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says,

“I will make you envious(D) by those who are not a nation;
    I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”[b](E)
