10 (A)If anyone [a]is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; (B)if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is (C)the [b]perseverance and the faith of the [c]saints.
The Beast from the Earth
11 Then (D)I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had (E)two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a (F)dragon. 12 He (G)exercises all the authority of the first beast [d](H)in his presence. And he makes (I)the earth and those who live on it (J)worship the first beast, whose (K)fatal wound was healed.

This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness(B) on the part of God’s people.(C)
The Beast out of the Earth
11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth.(D) It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.(E) 12 It exercised all the authority(F) of the first beast on its behalf,(G) and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast,(H) whose fatal wound had been healed.(I)
