Revelation 13:5-6 New English Translation

⁵The beast^[a] was given a mouth speaking proud words^[b] and blasphemies, and he was permitted^[c] to exercise ruling authority^[d] for forty-two months. ⁶So^[e] the beast^[f] opened his mouth to blaspheme against God—to blaspheme both his name and his dwelling place,^[g] that is, those who dwell in heaven.
