⁶ The ^(A)high praises of God shall be in their ^[a]mouths,
And a ^(B)two-edged ^(C)sword in their hands,
⁷ To ^(D)execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishment on the peoples,
⁸ To bind their kings ^(E)with chains,
And their ^(F)dignitaries with shackles of iron,
⁹ To ^(G)execute against them the judgment written.
This is an ^(H)honor for all His godly ones.
^[b]Praise ^[c]the Lord!

¹⁵ Raise your battle cry against her on every side!
She has ^(A)given ^[a]herself up, her towers have fallen,
Her ^(B)walls have been torn down.
For this is the ^(C)vengeance of the Lord:
Take vengeance on her;
^(D)As she has done to others, so do to her.

¹⁰ The Lord has ^(A)brought ^[a]about our vindication;
Come and let’s ^(B)recount in Zion
The work of the Lord our God!
