^3 (A)Be gracious to us, Lord, be gracious to us,
For we have had much more than enough of ^(B)contempt.
⁴ Our soul has had much more than enough
Of the ^(C)scoffing of ^(D)those who are at ease,
And with the ^(E)contempt of the proud.
