⁵You have ^(A)rebuked the nations, You have eliminated the wicked;
You have ^(B)wiped out their name forever and ever.

⁵You have rebuked the nations^(A) and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name^(B) for ever and ever.

⁵The Lord ^(A)tests the righteous and ^(B)the wicked,
And His soul hates one who loves violence.

⁵The Lord examines the righteous,^(A)
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.^(B)
