¹⁶Yours is the day, Yours also is the night;

¹⁶The day is yours, and yours also the night;
you established the sun and moon.^(A)

⁷The One ^(A)forming light and ^(B)creating darkness,
Causing ^[a]well-being and ^(C)creating disaster;
I am the Lord who does all these things.

⁷I form the light and create darkness,^(A)
I bring prosperity and create disaster;^(B)
I, the Lord, do all these things.
