7 Let the assembly of the (A)peoples encompass You,
And return on high over it.
8 The Lord (B)judges the peoples;
[a](C)Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.
9 Please let (D)the evil of the wicked come to an end, but (E)establish the righteous;
For the righteous God (F)puts hearts and [b]minds to the test.

7 Let the assembled peoples gather around you,
while you sit enthroned over them on high.(A)
8 Let the Lord judge(B) the peoples.
Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness,(C)
according to my integrity,(D) O Most High.(E)
9 Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
and make the righteous secure—(F)
you, the righteous God(G)
who probes minds and hearts.(H)
