New American Standard Bible

7 God, when You (A)went forth before Your people,
When You (B)marched through the desert, Selah
8 The (C)earth quaked;
The (D)heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;
[a](E)Sinai itself quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 You (F)made plentiful rain fall, God;
You confirmed Your inheritance when it was [b]parched.

7 When you, God, went out(A) before your people,
    when you marched through the wilderness,[a](B)
8 the earth shook,(C) the heavens poured down rain,(D)
    before God, the One of Sinai,(E)
    before God, the God of Israel.(F)
9 You gave abundant showers,(G) O God;
    you refreshed your weary inheritance.
