50 ^(A)The Mighty One, God, the Lord, has spoken
And summoned the earth, ^(B)from ^[b]the rising of the sun to its setting.

⁶ For a ^(A)Child will be born to us, a ^(B)Son will be given to us;
And the ^(C)government will ^[a]rest ^(D)on His shoulders;
And His name will be called ^(E)Wonderful Counselor, ^(F)Mighty God,
Eternal ^(G)Father, Prince of ^(H)Peace.

¹¹ But the ^(A)Lord is with me like a powerful champion;
Therefore my ^(B)persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will be put to great shame because they have ^[a]failed,
An ^(C)everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.
