Psalm 37:2

²For they will ^(A)wither quickly like the grass,
And ^(B)decay like the green plants.

New International Version

²for like the grass they will soon wither,^(A)
like green plants they will soon die away.^(B)

⁷The ^(A)grass withers, the flower fades,
^[a]When the ^(B)breath of the Lord blows upon it;
The people are indeed grass!

⁷The grass withers^(A) and the flowers fall,
because the breath^(B) of the Lord blows^(C) on them.
Surely the people are grass.
