⁹He lurks in secret like ^(A)a lion in his ^[a]lair;
He ^(B)lurks to catch ^(C)the needy;
He catches the needy when he pulls him into his ^(D)net.

⁹ like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;^(A)
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.^(B)

¹²He is ^(A)like a lion that is eager to tear,
And as a young lion ^(B)lurking in secret places.

like a fierce lion crouching in cover.
