³⁰ ‘^(A)If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the ^[a]testimony of witnesses, but ^(B)no person shall be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

^6 (A)On the ^[a]testimony of two witnesses or three witnesses, the ^[b]condemned shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the ^[c]testimony of only one witness.

¹⁶ But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that ^(A)on the ^[a]testimony of two or three witnesses every ^[b]matter may be confirmed.

¹⁷ Even in ^(A)your Law it has been written that the testimony of ^(B)two people is ^[a]true.
