⁶ And Moses sent them, a thousand from each tribe, to the war, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war with them, ^(A)and the holy implements and ^(B)the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.

⁴ Also seven priests shall carry seven ^(A)trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

¹² Now behold, God is with us at our head, and ^(A)His priests with the signal trumpets to sound the war cry against you. Sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you will not succeed.”
