9 Only (A)do not rebel against the Lord; and do not (B)fear the people of the land, for they will be our [a]prey. Their [b]protection is gone from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.” 10 (C)But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then (D)the glory of the Lord appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.
Moses Pleads for the People
11 (E)And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people be disrespectful to Me? And how long will (F)they not [c]believe in Me, despite all the signs that I have performed in their midst?

9 Only do not rebel(A) against the Lord. And do not be afraid(B) of the people of the land,(C) because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with(D) us.(E) Do not be afraid of them.”(F)
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning(G) them. Then the glory of the Lord(H) appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites. 11 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt?(I) How long will they refuse to believe in me,(J) in spite of all the signs(K) I have performed among them?
