4 He (A)rebukes the sea and dries it up;
He dries up all the rivers.
(B)Bashan and Carmel wither,
The blossoms of Lebanon wither.
5 Mountains (C)quake because of Him,
And the hills (D)come apart;
Indeed the earth is (E)upheaved by His presence,
The (F)world and all the inhabitants in it.
6 (G)Who can stand before His indignation?
Who can endure the (H)burning of His anger?
His (I)wrath gushes forth like fire,
And the (J)rocks are broken up by Him.

The earth trembles(F) at his presence,
the world and all who live in it.(G)
6 Who can withstand(H) his indignation?
Who can endure(I) his fierce anger?(J)
His wrath is poured out like fire;(K)
the rocks are shattered(L) before him.
