8 (A)Again, the devil *took Him along to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, “(B)All these things I will give You, if You fall down and [a]worship me.” 10 Then Jesus *said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘(C)You shall worship the Lord your God, and [b]serve Him only.’”

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan!(A) For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[a]”(B)
