²² Pilate *said to them, “Then what shall I do with Jesus ^(A)who is called Christ?” They all *said, “^[a]Crucify Him!” ²³ But he said, “Why, what evil has He done?” Yet they kept shouting all the more, saying, “^[b]Crucify Him!”

¹³ They shouted ^[a]back, “Crucify Him!” ¹⁴ But Pilate said to them, “Why, what ^[b]evil has He done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify Him!”

²¹ but they kept on crying out, saying, “Crucify, crucify Him!” ²² And he said to them a third time, “Why, what has this man done wrong? I have found ^[a]in His case no grounds for a sentence of death; therefore I will ^[b](A)punish Him and release Him.” ²³ But they were insistent, with loud voices, demanding that He be crucified. And their voices began to prevail.

¹⁵ So they shouted, “^(A)Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate *said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

¹⁴ But you disowned ^(A)the Holy and Righteous One, and ^(B)asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
