³Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled^(A) in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,^(B)

²⁷^(A)Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into ^(B)the ^[a]Praetorium and gathered the whole Roman ^[b]^(C)cohort to Him.

²⁷Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium^(B) and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him.
